Abbreviations:

ch = chain
st = stitch
sl st = slip stitch
inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec = decrease (2 sc together)
(..) = repeat the space in brackets the given number of times
[..] = total number of stitches

Work in continuous rounds, don’t join. Use a yarn marker.

Start crocheting with a head:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring or in the second ch from hook [6] Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12] Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) repeat 6 times [18] Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times [24] Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 6 times [30] Rnd 6: (sc in next 4 st, inc) repeat 6 times [36] Rnd 7: (sc in next 5 st, inc) repeat 6 times [42] Rnd 8-17 [= 10 rounds]: sc in all 42 st [42] Don’t fasten off. We’ll come back to this part.

Make the eyes. It’s easier to sew them when the head is not ready.

Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) repeat 6 times [18] Cut off leaving a tail for sewing the flecks of light.
Sew the eyes next to each other between Rnd 7 and Rnd 13 counting from the top. Embroider the flecks of light, tie off and hide the ends.

Insert the rattle into the head and continue crocheting it:
Rnd 18: (sc in next 5 st, dec) repeat 6 times [36] Rnd 19: (sc in next 4 st, dec) repeat 6 times [30] Rnd 20: (sc in next 3 st, dec) repeat 6 times [24] Rnd 21: (sc in next 2 st, dec) repeat 6 times [18] Don’t fasten off. You’ll come back to this part.

Finish off: when you have 6 stitches left, cut the yarn and take the yarn out of the last stitch. Use the hook to weave this end through the stitches and draw all 6 stitches together closing the hole. Fasten off and hide the end inside.

Wings:
At first, crochet 2 separate parts.
The first part:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring or in the second ch from hook [6] Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12] Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) repeat 6 times [18] Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times [24] Rounds 5-10 [= 6 rounds]: sc in all 24 st [24] Cut off leaving a small tail. You’ll need it later! Pull the yarn out.

The second part:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring or in the second ch from hook [6] Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12] Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) repeat 6 times [18] Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times [24] Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 6 times [30] Rounds 6-11 [= 6 rounds]: sc in all 30 st [30] Don’t cut the yarn, continue crocheting with it further.
The photo shows how to put the parts together. The arrow shows the direction of crocheting.

First, please read the description of Round 12!
Rnd 12: sc in the next 13 st, make a decrease with the first wing part joining them together, sc in the next 10 st, dec, sc in the next 9 st, dec — joining with the second part, sc in the next 12 st. It’s necessary to leave 1 stitch of each part between them (one stitch should have the yarn end left from the first part) [49 + 2 stitches between the parts].

Rnd 13: Crochet this round with 2 decreases at the sides. The arrows on the photo below show the places of decreases [47]

Use the yarn left between the parts to sew the 2 skipped stitches.

Sew the spots on the wing at this step, it’s more convenient that way.

Spots:
Two spots:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring or in the second ch from hook [6] Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12] Cut off leaving a tail for sewing.
