It would be a great decoration idea for baby rooms for kids rooms. You can enjoy the amigurumi teddy bear pillow making for your children by following the steps from the pictures. You can fill it with a lining and fill it with fiber. Let’s go into details now.

Amigurumi Teddy Bear Pillow Pattern

We knit our pillows with ribbon ropes. You can also use thick cotton ropes. Different ropes. The dimensions of the pillow will change according to the thickness and thinness of the ropes you should pay attention to. Accordingly, you can increase the number of rounds to reach the desired dimensions.

You start making amigurumi teddy bear pillows with a magic ring.

And you start with 2 chains and make 9 handrails (10).

Then we start the auctions. We start each round with 2 chains.

In the second round we are making 1 railing on the chain and 2 railings on the same place over the others.

Our number is 21.

In the third round we make 1 railing on the chain.

In the following rounds, we continue with an increase of 1 eg 1 and the number of handrails is 47.

In this way, 8 rounds, 9 eg 1 continue to increase until we do 97 handrails.

Take off your yarn but leave a long end so that you then have enough yarn to sew the nose in place. First, however, you should crochet a little more. Time for the pink nose part!

Make a magic ring with Light Pink 246.
Row 1. 3 ch (= first tr) and another 4 tr. Pull the ring together. Turn.
Round 2. 3 ch (= first tr) and then 2 tr in each st = a total of 9 tr. Turn.

Remove the yarn and leave a long enough end to then sew the nose into place.

inner Ear
The inner ears are crocheted in Catania, Light Pink 246 with crochet hook 3.5. Leave one end long enough to sew together the hole that will form in the first st.
Row 1. 3 ch, 8 sts in first ch.
Row 2. 2 ch (= first tr), turn and then 2 tr in each st except in the last where you crochet 1 tr = a total of 17 tr.

– Sew the hole in the middle of the ear.
Then crochet another inner ear according to the same description.

Eye
The eyes are crocheted with Catania, Natural 105 and Black 110 and crochet hook 3.5.
We start with the eye white and make a magic ring with Natural 105.
Row 1. 3 ch = (first tr) and a further 14 tr = a total of 15 tr. Finish with 1 cm. Pull your ring together.
Row 2. 3 ch = (first tr) and crochet 2 tr in each st. The last tr is then crocheted in the finishing st on the row before. Finish with 1 cm = 30 sts in total.
Row 3. 3 ch (= first tr), * 2 tr in same st, 1 tr *. Repeat between *: s and turn off and finish with 1 sl st. Remove the yarn. Leave a long enough end to be able to sew the white eyes to the head.

The pupil is crocheted with Black 110, according to the same pattern as the white eyes, but you skip the last lap, ie you crochet only laps 1 and 2.
You should crochet 2 eye whites and 2 pupils.

Mounting
Now we come to the part that I personally find the worst. To sew all the details of the teddy bear on the face and eventually sew the 2 pillow pieces together.

  • Start by sewing the inner ears. Starting with the straight edge it is easier to get them in the right place.
  • The pink nose should then be sewn to the silver colored bulging nose.
  • Then it’s time for a small chain stitch as we want a mouth on the needle pad.
  • I stuffed my nose into a nylon knee sock. I filled with wadding from an old ugly pillow.
  • When the nose was in place, the black pupils are sewn onto the whites of the eyes. I wanted something more in the look so I added some white stitches to the side of the black pupil.
  • Then sew your eyes.
  • You sew together front and back piece as the yarn will not be enough to knit them together. Leave the ends at the end and do not attach too hard, because you may want to remove the inner pillow and wash the outside! You then insert the ends into the pillow itself.
